Nominating Committee

The mission of the Nominating Committee is to work continually to identify potential candidates for new Trustees who will sustain and enhance the Foundation’s reputation as a respected, trusted and highly recognized organization among Northeast Georgia residents, business and community leaders, students and alumni.  Paramount to this consideration will be individuals who will facilitate the College’s ability to provide an excellent educational experience and effectively respond to the important needs of the community.  The Committee will seek out individuals who exemplify the diversity, leadership, academic excellence, arts and cultural identity, and economic vitality of the extended community.  The Committee will especially involve Trustees willing to give significant financial resources to the Foundation to accomplish objectives of the College.

The Committee will make recommendations to the Board of Trustees on the composition and size of membership of the Board, the Trustees and the committees of the Foundation.  It will prepare annual nominations to the Board of Trustees for approval; monitor the performance of the trustees; and recommend replacement of Trustees.
