The Georgia Gwinnett College Foundation Finance and Audit Committee oversees all aspects of the Foundation’s finances, including, but not limited to, preparing and submitting an annual budget to the Board of Trustees for approval; monitoring the performance of the budget; reviewing the actions of the chief financial officer and his or her subordinates; developing, in concert with other board committees and the institution, short-term and long-term financial benchmarks and strategies to promote the fiscal health of the GGC Foundation and Georgia Gwinnett College; investing and managing the Foundation’s long-term assets; and assuring that an annual audit of the Foundation’s books is conducted by an independent certified public accountant and that said audit be submitted to the Executive Committee and the Board.
