The Real Estate Committee is a vital component of the Georgia Gwinnett College Foundation (GGCF). As a rapidly growing institution, GGC will be engaging in activities such as property acquisition, analysis and management of public-private partnerships and acceptance of real property gifts. The mission of the Committee is to analyze such opportunities and transactions and support the GGCF in building a solid base of financial support in real estate gifts and holdings benefiting the GGCF and the College. The Committee will also perform routine assessments of real estate holdings and public-private partnerships as a means of making recommendations to the Board of Trustees (Board) on actions necessary to maintain the financial integrity of such holdings.
The Committee, with Board approval, may act as an intermediary between the GGCF and landowners for the purpose of acquisition, lease, or property management. It may also engage in land value assessment as a means of analyzing gift usefulness or worth.
