Where are you from? Horseheads, New York

Where do you work? State Farm: Account Manager

How has GGC helped prepare you for where you are today? 
GGC provided me with the education to pursue a career in marketing, concentrating in sales.  The experiences in the classroom helped me prepare for the real world by not just reading a textbook, but applying the knowledge I learned through several projects and activities.

Favorite professor at GGC:
Two of my favorite professors were Dr. Robert Anservitz and Dr. Alice Collins.  Every day I use the knowledge and skills they taught me in the classroom - from advertising and consumer behavior to professional selling.

Advice for new students:
Study hard and do not procrastinate. Sometimes the work seems endless, but the reward at the end is worth all of the hard work.  Also, I would highly recommend utilizing the services GGC has to offer, such as the career development center and job boards. 

What’s next?
In the next ten years I see myself graduating with my MBA, enabling me to grow within my career.  I also see myself happily married with children, actively involved in the community.
