What do you enjoy most about working at GGC?
I absolutely love that we are an access institution! As a First Generation college graduate, I know first-hand the needs of a large portion of our population; how impactful representation can be, as well as the importance of extending kindness and grace as they navigate unchartered territory. I am a firm believer that education changes lives. Not only the lives of the students, but the families and communities of which they live, work and play.
What gives you the most fulfillment about your role at GGC?
I am most fulfilled during the New Student Orientations! Seeing the faces of our newest Grizzlies and interacting with them and their families reminds me of the sacrifices that many of them have made to get this far as well as the impact that this new journey will have.
Why do you donate to the We Are GGC campaign?
I choose to donate to the We Are GGC Campaign to further demonstrate my desire, my commitment and my responsibility of paving the way for those that follow.
Why do you think it's important for others to contribute to the We Are GGC Campaign?
"We Not Me" is a slogan that the GGC Enrollment Management team lives by. None of us arrive at our destinations alone or by our own strength. We help each other! Small donations can make a BIG impact.
